Our Specialized Approach

Our job counsellors use a case-based approach when intervening with every client. A case-based approach is an approach that is customized, and focussed on every client’s needs, availability, expectations, and abilities. This approach helps to increase our intervention’s chances for success because it allows counsellors to determine the time and degree of interventions for every client.

Our interventions are consistent with our values : respect, exchange, and engagement. In other words, interveners promote work in a respectful and prejudice-free environment for our clients. No matter who our client is, it’s their interests that prevail. This means that our intervention is case-based, prioritizing every one of our clients’ needs.

No matter where the client comes from (Emploi-Québec, Correctional Service of Canada, Hull detention center, probation service, clients coming to CPSP alone, etc.), our counsellors take the time to understand their specific and individual needs, pay a personalized attention to them to better tailor the services provided.
