If an employer asks me whether I have a criminal record during an interview, should I be honest and tell him/her the truth? |
An employer cannot ask you this question during the interview. Please come and see a counsellor should you require further details on how to go about this question. |

Its important to prepare for an interview if you want to sell yourself. We can give you useful tips that will increase your chances for a successful interview. |

Must I have a resumé for my job search? |
Most employers want to see the potential candidates' resumé. A CPSP employment counsellor will help you prepare a resumé that highlights your strengths and skills. The service is free. |

Applying for pardon |

Is there any point in applying for pardon since the procedure is too long and expensive? |
Once you have been pardoned, your criminal record is no longer accessible to employers. A CPSP counsellor can help you throughout the application process. |

I'm 30 years old and feel that there're no jobs for me. I'd like to go back to school but am I too old? |
Its never too late to have a good career. An educational counsellor can give you information on training options in demand in the region and help you with the registration process. |

Must I have 11th grade education to get a job? |
Its possible to get a job without 11th grade education. However, several jobs require 11th grade or equivalent level of education. If you want to go back to school, an educational counsellor will help you work towards this objective. |
